SUP Yoga

SUP Yoga (Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga)

SUP Yoga blends traditional yoga with stand-up paddleboarding for a practice that is grounding, strengthening, and deeply connected to nature. You’re essentially taking your yoga mat onto the water—adding a fun balance challenge and a calming outdoor experience.

What to Expect

-Gentle movements + mindful breath combined with the natural sway of the board
-Core activation in every pose (even the “easy” ones!)
-A playful practice—because everyone wobbles, everyone splashes, and that’s part of the fun
-A chance to slow down and connect with the lake, the sky, and yourself

Benefits

-Builds balance, stability, and strength
-Deepens body awareness
-Encourages presence and breathwork
-Boosts confidence by stepping outside your comfort zone
-Provides a peaceful retreat from city noise and stress

Who It’s For

Beginners and seasoned yogis alike! If you can stand on a paddleboard or are open to kneeling/sitting, you can do SUP Yoga. No prior paddleboarding experience is required.

Tips for First-Timers

-Wear water-friendly clothing
-Expect to get at least a little wet
-Move slowly and mindfully
-Keep your gaze soft and low for balance
-Most importantly: have fun and don’t take yourself too seriously!
